ABOUT ME
As one of six children and the daughter of a concert pianist and US Air Force officer, I was born in Tokyo, Japan and have lived and traveled worldwide all of my life. After entering college at age 16 and graduating at 20, I made the decision to move to the Emerald Coast where my oldest brother, Bob was manager of Delta Airlines (ASA) and brother Brian was an editorial cartoonist at the "new" local Destin Log newspaper. Since then, I have enjoyed the relaxing, casual resort lifestyle of the beach. I understand why so many buyers want to own their own piece of paradise. After living in tropical areas and visiting many other resort destinations, I have found no other area where the sand is as flour-soft and sugar white and the water is as crystal clear emerald green as this 200 mile stretch of the Gulf of Mexico in Northwest Florida. As a bonus to the spectacular natural beauty of the area, the gracious Southern hospitality of the local residents make this area of Florida unique and special. I was one of the "original" employees of Abbott Resorts/Realty in 1986 and was the Sr. Marketing Manager when the area was blossoming from a quiet fishing village (also had been known as the 'redneck riviera') to a prime upscale metropolitan resort area. Despite the economic growth, it is evident that our area still maintains a distinct hometown flavor. I've seen the steady positive growth over time and have participated in many of the real estate developments, hosted many travel writers, developed many marketing plans, catalogs and advertisments to promote our area. I am now selling the area in a more direct way as a real estate agent. I was one of the original members of the Okaloosa County Tourist Development Council back in the early 1990's when we strategized and promoted the newly named "Emerald Coast" area to tourists. I am also a former board member of the Destin area Chamber of Commerce and am a current board member of the newest and most exciting local symphony orchestra, Sinfonia. Over two decades later, I am still amazed at the incredible beauty of our beaches. I love the area and know you will too.
Licensed since 1987, I am an experienced real estate agent in the area and am familiar with almost all condominium and townhome properties for sale all along Fort Walton Beach, Destin, Sandestin, Tops'l to Santa Rosa and down the 30A corridor to Blue Mountain Beach Grayton, Watercolor, Seaside, Seagrove, Seacrest, Alys Beach, Rosemary Beach and onto Panama City Beach. I am also familiar with Navarre Beach and westward to Perdido Key area on the Florida/Alabama border.
I am ready to assist you in a purchase or sale of a condo, towhome, house or lot in any of these areas. While I am the expert at Waterscape, being the top agent since pre-construction sales, I am very active all along Northwest Florida's Emerald Coast. I assisted in the past marketing development plans for Pelican Beach Resort with developer Jim Adams, The Summit and Tides of Tops'l with developer Frank Flautt, Leeward Key, Harbor Landing, and Grand Dunes Resort in Destin with developer, Paul Freeman. I was recently named as the Emerald Coast Association of Realtors #1 Realtor in 2008 and have been a consistent and proven multi-million dollar producer with ResortQuest Real Estate, always in the "Top 10" agents list in production.
